The Netherlands based company have been producing security systems for a while now and have recently added a the K1 SmartHome diy Kit, the UFO Panoramic WiFi HD cam and smart video Doorbell to their range..
K1 SmartHome diy Kit
smanos’s new K1 integrated smart home kit and safety gateway acts both like a butler and a guard. up to 50 wirelessly connected devices, including detectors, sensors and vision systems, can be intuitively operated as part of the system, either locally on-site or by means of an iOS or Android smartphone.
The kit includes the plug-and-play smart Hub that forms the heart of the system, using email, SMS, push notifications and voice communication with the user(s).
It also includes a safety Keypad to simply arm/disarm the system by means of a pattern-based code and a Pet-Friendly motion Sensor in addition to the Door/Window Sensor and indoor Siren. all of the safety devices offer tamper-proof operation and a battery life of up to 3 years.
Z-Wave devices from other home safety and automation brands, Amazon Echo, and the Google Nest® thermostat can also be used with the smanos K1 system. The K1 kit will be globally available in July 2016 at an RRP of £249.
UFO Panoramic WiFi HD
Available separately or as part of the K1 system, smanos’s new UFO Panoramic WiFi HD Camera. The smanos UFO cam can be mounted on the ceiling or a desk surface and supplies three selectable 1080p views simultaneously: a 360-degree bird’s eye view, an auto-corrected 180-degree panoramic view and a 90-degree quad view.
By using your iphone or Android smartphone, you can zoom in and out digitally and view the scene anywhere, anytime. The footage is stored on-site (via an optional microSD memory card) and can be accessed, shared and archived remotely by means of the cloud. The smanos UFO Panoramic WiFi HD cam will be globally available in June 2016 at an RRP of £149.
Smart video Doorbell
Also available as a stand-alone option or for integration into the K1 system, the smart video Doorbell lets you answer the door even when you’re not home. The camera captures sharp images of visitors even at night and sends real-time video and audio to the homeowner’s and their family members’ smartphones. using the smartphone app, users can then speak with the visitors from anywhere as long as the Internet (via WiFi or cellular signals) is available.
The doorbell features simple, diy installation and is battery-powered for usage around 10 weeks and allows you to wire to your existing door chime if desired using the AC power module. Homeowners can select either a metallic or wooden faceplate to blend in with their front door/porch. The smanos smart video Doorbell will be available for purchase globally in July 2016 at an RRP of £159.
